Authorisation error when logging into the mySmartControl portal

To manage your mySmartControl account, do not use a smartphone/tablet but a laptop/PC!


If you try to log into your mySmartControl user account on the mySmartControl portal (https://portal.mysmartcontrol.com) with your e-mail address while a UNii Online account also exists with the same e-mail address, the message ‘authorisation error’ will occur.

To access your mySmartControl user account, in this case, you need to log in to the UNii Online portal https://www.unii-online.com 

Once logged into your UNii Online portal, click on the ‘smartphone icon’ at the bottom left of the screen, after which you will be taken to your mySmartControl user account.

If you have accessed your mySmartControl user account via the UNii Online portal, you can return to the UNii Online environment via the ‘laptop icon’ at the bottom left of the screen.
